Paul Notaras, Shaun Hannah, Alastair Wright and Chris Packett (Executive Directors) founded Altis in 2008 and each have extensive experience in real estate, investment management and finance.

Executive Directors

Shaun Hannah

Executive Director Real Estate

 

  •  Shaun commenced his property career in Sydney in 1984 and has more than 34 years’ experience in real estate development and investment in both private and listed companies.

 

  • His role involves responsibility for real estate acquisitions, due diligence, implementation, delivery and strategy.

 

  • Prior to founding Altis, Shaun was a Director and Principal of ICA Property Group (a private real estate development and investment management business) where he was responsible for all real estate investments and development. He was CEO of Real Estate Development at Valad Property Group where he was responsible for real estate development across all sectors in Australia.

 

  • Shaun is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.

Paul Notaras

Executive Director Investment Management

 

  •  Paul has more than 30 years’ experience as a senior executive in real estate investment, finance and funds management.

 

  • His role involves responsibility for funds management with a particular focus on capital raising, investor relations, acquisitions, portfolio construction and structuring.

 

  • Prior to founding Altis, Paul was CEO of Funds Management at Valad Property Group, Director and Principal of ICA Property Group and a key executive in the establishment of GE Capital Real Estate in Australia becoming the managing director for Australia.

 

  • Paul has a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.

Alastair Wright

Executive Director Finance & Operations

 

  •  Alastair has more than 25 years’ experience in investment management, property, accounting and finance.

 

  • His role involves responsibility for accounting, finance, cash management, fund reporting, risk management and compliance.

 

  • Prior to founding Altis, Alastair was the Fund Manager for the ICA Property Development Funds series at ICA Property Group and Valad. Prior to this he worked at Macquarie Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers in a range of roles including Funds Management, risk, compliance and audit.

 

  • Alastair has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto (Canada) and is a Chartered Accountant.

Chris Packett

Executive Director Asset & Development Management

 

  • Chris has more than 36 years’ experience in real estate investment and funds management.

 

  • His role involves responsibility for managing the development and asset management teams and Altis projects.

 

  • Prior to joining Altis, Chris held the positions of Director Real Estate Equity Funds at Mirvac and funds management positions at ICA Property Group and Valad. Prior to this he held a number of senior real estate roles at AMP and AMP Capital Investors in various commercial, retail and industrial development, asset management and leadership roles in Australia and New Zealand.

Mark Flockhart

Director Large Format Retail

 

  • Mark has over 40 years of real estate asset, funds and portfolio management experience.

 

  • His role involves responsibility for retail assets.

 

  • Mark’s previous roles were Head of Real Estate for First State Super responsible for c. $4 billion of diversified real estate assets and Head of Private Clients for AMP Capital responsible for managing all of AMP Capital’s private institutional property mandates with c. $7 billion of diversified real estate assets.

 

  • Mark holds a Master of Commerce (UWS) Grad. Dip Urban Studies (Mac), Prop. Valuation (UWS) Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Gareth Price

Director Capital Transactions

 

  • Gareth has over 25 years’ experience in real estate investment, finance and economics.

 

  • Gareth’s role with Altis involves assisting with real estate acquisitions and divestments, capital raising, portfolio management and new business development.

 

  • Before joining Altis, Gareth ran a boutique real estate investment business, Siara Investments. Prior to this position, Gareth was a senior executive at Valad Property Group.

 

  • Gareth has a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Adelaide.

Daniel Jarosch

Investment Director

 

  • Daniel has over 20 years’ experience in property funds management and investment, asset management, finance and risk.

 

  • As Investment Director, Daniel is responsible for the investment in Bankstown Airport and Camden Airport.

 

  • Prior to Altis, Daniel’s experience includes general manager with Stockland Capital Partners and Arcadia Funds Management, and senior manager with Macquarie Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sydney and London.

 

  • Daniel has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant.

Anthony White

Investment Analyst

 

  • Anthony has more than 15 years’ experience in real estate investment, analysis and research.

 

  • Anthony is responsible for financial modelling, research, analysis and funds management reporting for the group.

 

  • Anthony joined Altis in 2011, his prior experience included a Senior Analyst role at Valad and economic research roles at Econtech and the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

 

  • Anthony has a Bachelor or Commerce (Honours) from Deakin University.

Christopher Yoo

Investment Analyst

 

  • Christopher has over 10 years’ experience in real estate investment, finance and accounting.

 

  • His role with Altis involves capital transactions, investment due diligence, financial analysis and investor reporting.

 

  • Christopher joined Altis in 2013 with his prior experience including an investment analyst role at Hadley Green Investment Group.

 

  • Christopher is a CPA, has a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Sydney and is completing Master of Real Estate Investment from University of Technology Sydney.

Marco Cunningham

Investment Analyst

 

  • Marco joined Altis in 2016 with his role involving the financial analysis of capital transactions, asset development and funds management.

 

  • Prior to joining Altis, Marco worked as an Analyst for Tipalea Partners with a focus on the analysis of group capital transactions, property development and deal origination.

 

  • Marco holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University and is studying towards a Masters of Property Development.

Tammy Callaghan

Director Asset Management

 

  • Tammy has been involved with commercial and industrial real estate since 1996 both in Australia and the UK. Her career spans roles in leasing, sales and asset management as well as tenant advisory.

 

  • At Altis, Tammy co-ordinates the asset management team responsible for the implementation of asset strategies and their operation. In addition, Tammy manages several commercial assets across the portfolio.

 

  • Tammy’s experience prior to joining Altis in 2013 was with Jones Lang LaSalle, ING Real Estate and Goodman.

 

  • Tammy holds a Post Graduate Diploma of Management, Associate Diploma of Business (Valuation) and is a Licenced Real Estate Agent.

Trent Watkins

Development Director

 

  • Trent has more than 20 years property experience in management, leasing, development and re-positioning of commercial, retail and industrial property as well as tenant advisory.

 

  • At Altis, Trent is involved in a broad range of development and re-development activities across commercial, retail and industrial asset classes.

 

  • Trent’s experience prior to joining Altis was with Macarthur Cook as Senior Portfolio Manager and Fortius Funds Management as Asset Manager.

 

  • Trent has a Bachelor of Commerce (Land Economy), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment as well as being a Licenced Real Estate Agent.

Stephen O’Connor

Project Director

 

  • Stephen has over 12 years’ property experience in commercial and industrial planning, development and asset management both in Australia and North America.

 

  • At Altis, Stephen is responsible for the planning and development of First Estate located at Erskine Park.

 

  • Stephen’s experience prior to joining Altis in 2013 was as Associate Director of Asset Services at CBRE.  In particular, he focused on industrial and commercial assets in Western Sydney.

 

  • Stephen has a Bachelor of Commerce (Property Economics) from the University of Technology Sydney.

Joseph Ajaka

Project Director

 

  • Joseph has more than 13 years experience in industrial and commercial real estate. His past roles have spanned across development management, transactions and valuations.

 

  • Joseph joined Altis in 2017. As Project Director, Joseph is responsible for the development of Bankstown Airport and Camden Airport.

 

  • Prior to joining Altis Joseph held positions at GPT Group responsible for the development of their Western Sydney industrial land holdings and industrial land acquisition across Australia’s eastern seaboard. He also held the role of valuer at CB Richard Ellis

 

  • Joseph has a Bachelor or Property Economics (Honours) from the University of Technology Sydney.

Sam Salteri

Development Manager

 

  • Sam joined Altis in 2017 with his role primarily involving the development of Bankstown and Camden Airports.

 

  • Prior to working at Altis, Sam worked as a valuations analyst at KPMG, and for SMEC as a design coordinator on the Metro Northwest Project.

 

  • Sam holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) with a Major in Environmental Engineering, a Bachelor of Project Management from the University of Sydney and is currently studying towards a Masters of Property Development at UTS.

Dan Malone

Development Manager

 

  • Dan has more than 10 years’ experience in real estate development and architecture in Australia and North America.

 

  • Dan’s role at Altis involves the management of development projects including assessing and implementing development opportunities, leasing and delivery for a range of asset classes.

 

  • Dan’s experience prior to joining Altis in 2017 includes 3 years at Lendlease as a Development Manager working in the commercial development team at Barangaroo.

 

  • Prior to Lendlease, Dan worked as an architect based in Melbourne on range of international commercial, residential and public projects. Dan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Melbourne and a Masters in Real Estate Development and Investment from Harvard University.

Ian Bullock

Asset Manager

 

  • Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the real estate investment and management industry.

 

  • Ian’s role at Altis Property Partners includes assisting in property sales and acquisitions as well as the asset management of industrial and office assets.

 

  • Prior to joining Altis, Ian’s roles included property and asset management, sales and acquisitions and commercial and retail leasing. Ian has extensive experience in the office, retail and industrial sectors having held positions with AMP, Schroeders, AMP Shopping Centres, ING Real Estate, Mirvac and ISPT.

 

  • Ian holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration, Graduate Diploma of Management and Associate Diploma of Valuation.

Rosie Van Epen

Asset Manager

 

  • Rosie has 7 years’ experience in funds and asset management across retail, commercial and industrial property.

 

  • Her role at Altis involves managing assets to implement property management, leasing, value-add planning, capital expenditure and redevelopment strategies across the portfolio, with a focus on Large Format Retail.

 

  • Before joining Altis in 2016, Rosie previously worked at Denison Funds Management for 4 years, where she managed a diversified national portfolio of office, retail and industrial assets and undertook fund analysis and market reporting.

 

  • Rosie has completed a Masters in Property Development from University of Technology Sydney, a postgraduate Diploma of Property Development and Planning from University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and an Advanced Diploma of Property Valuation from TAFE Ultimo.

Melina Kyprianou

Project Assistant

 

  • Melina has 6 years’ experience in property industry and her role involves assisting the Asset Management team on various Altis projects including disposals, leasing, project management, legal matters, research and marketing initiatives.

 

  • Melina’s experience prior to joining Altis in 2015 was as a Senior Analyst at Deloitte Real Estate focussed corporate real estate advisory and tenant representation in the Brisbane commercial office and industrial markets.

 

  • Melina has a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Property and Sustainable Development (Urban Development) from Bond University.

Samantha Young

Finance Manager

 

  • Samantha has over 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting within the listed property industry and in chartered accounting.

 

  • Her role with Altis involves financial reporting, accounting and audit for the AREEP series and Altis.

 

  • Samantha joined Altis in 2013, with prior experience including finance and accounting roles at Valad Property Group, Ernst and Young and Arthur Andersen.

 

  • Samantha is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University

Maria Barresi

Finance Manager

 

  • Maria has over 25 years’ experience in finance and accounting within the listed property industry.

 

  • Her role with Altis involves financial reporting, accounting and audit for the AREEP series and Altis.

 

  • Maria joined Altis in 2014, with prior experience including finance and accounting roles at Knight Frank and Colonial First State Global Management.

Brooke Bourne

Finance Manager

 

  • Brooke has over 20 years’ experience in finance and accounting within the funds management and property industry and in chartered accounting. Her role with Altis involves financial reporting, accounting and audit for the AREEP series and Altis.

Angela Grisdale

Finance Manager

 

  • Angela has over 20 years’ experience in finance & accounting in a variety of industries.

 

  • Prior to Altis she held an accounting role at Valad Property Group. She joined Altis in 2012.

 

  • Her role with Altis involves debt administration and financial reporting for the AREEP series.

Hadis Jalaee

Finance Manager

 

  • Hadis has over 10 years’ experience in accounting and cash management in the property industry.

 

  • Her role with Altis involves cash management and payroll of Corporate, ARET and the AREEP Funds.

 

  • Hadis joined Altis in 2015, with prior roles in accounting at Valad Property Group.

 

  • Hadis has a Bachelor of Business from Australian Catholic University

Kathryn Willingham

Office Manager

 

  • Kathryn has more than 20 years office management and administration experience in the property industry.

 

  • Kathryn’s role involves the organisation and coordination of office operations and procedures.

 

  • Kathryn joined Altis in 2008 and has prior experience with Valad Property Group, ICA Property Group and ADCO Constructions.
