Camden Airport is located within the City of Camden, 50 km south west of the Sydney CBD. The airport is bounded to the north, west and south by the Nepean River and Macquarie Grove Road to the east. Area surrounding the airport is mainly grazing land with surrounding residential development.
Camden Airport is the sixth most active airport in Australia with four runways – two for fixed wing aircraft (one is sealed) and two grass runways for gliders. The airport is dedicated to recreation supporting sport aviation, private flying, training and gliding.
Camden Airport is located on 196 ha of land with 100 ha dedicated to aviation infrastructure and related uses. There is approximately 9 ha of surplus land available for development.
